The StarterHorn™ 30° USMA is an affordable horn sector antenna that delivers excellent noise rejection and coverage stability, making it an accessible entry point to horn antenna technology. It is a scalar horn antenna with a symmetrical radiation pattern, featuring a circular cross-section where both azimuth and elevation beam widths are 30° at -6dB. Crucially, it has zero side lobes, ensuring efficient spectrum use and preventing high interference in wireless networks. This design contributes to a high Beam Efficiency (BE) of 92%, significantly increasing throughput. Its beam width and gain remain stable across 5 GHz frequencies (U-NII-1 to U-NII-3), ensuring reliable performance regardless of channel changes. The antenna offers flexible connectivity with RP-SMA ports for coaxial radios and a waveguide port for Ubiquiti IsoStation and PrismStation.
